11.7.4.3 Removing / installing an optical drive
Preparations
Isolate the device from mains and disconnect all connection cables.
Required tools
You need the following screwdrivers to remove the the DVD burner:
● Torx T10 to mount/remove the drive bay
● Torx T6 to install/remove the drive

How to remove a DVD burner drive
1 Remove the drive bay module.

Loosen the screws ① on the DVD
burner drive bay.


Remove the retaining screws
① of
the drive.


4 Disconnect the power supply and the data cable from the drive.
5 Lift the drive out.
