Remove the M.2 NVMe SSD from the
Slider as shown.
8.
Carefully separate the M.2 NVMe SSD
from the adapter plate.
9.
Plug the new M.2 NVMe SSD into the
adapter plate. Make sure that the coding
is aligned correctly.
10.
Reassemble the slider completely with
the newly inserted M.2 NVMe SSD
- in
reverse order to steps 7 to 4.
Only use the original screws.
11.
Slide the slider into the drive carrier as
far as it will go.
12.
Replace the cover of the drive carrier.
13.
Close the terminal compartment cover,
see important information on this under
"
Opening and closing the terminal com-
partment cover (Page 51)".
Note
To ensure reliable operation of the devices with SIMATIC IPC Slider, the Slider must be closed
with the cover.
