Expanding and assigning parameters to the device   
6.1 Opening and closing the backplane cover

1.  Loosen the two indicated M4x16 screws of the terminal compartment cover ② (the screws 
are captive in the covers). 
2.  Open the terminal compartment cover ② and put it down safely (see also "Opening and 
closing the terminal compartment cover (Page 51)"). 
3.  Remove the green connection terminal. The connection terminal is plugged in and can be 
pulled out from the front. 
4.  Loosen the eight M4x16 screws of the backplane cover ① (the screws are captive in the 
covers). 
5.  Open the backplane cover ① and carefully place it next to the device as shown below. 
 
 
The power supply ③ is integrated in the backplane cover ① and connected with cables 
④ to the motherboard. If you fully fold down or lay down the backplane cover ①, place 
it directly next to the device. The device may be damaged. 
1.  Secure the backplane cover ① from falling down. 
2.  Disconnect the plugs of the power supply cables (see "Connecting the power supply 
(Page 51)"). 
 
Disconnect the power supply plug ⑤ on the motherboard. 
 
6.  Now you can install and remove the hardware.
