Settings DNP3 station
DNP3 parameters of the station / node station
You can find the following parameters in the "Settings DNP3 station" parameter group of the
interfaces of the communication module set on the "Station" or "Node station" network node
type.
Monitoring parameters
Disturbance bit
The station can use bit 1.6 of the Internal Indication Byte (IIN1.6) in the Application
Response Header to indicate a fault in the CPU to the master.
If this option is activated, the bit is set to "1" when the CPU is in STOP state.
IP address check
This parameter is used for security when establishing a connection between a station and
the master.
Check IP address
When this option is activated, the station checks the partner's IP address in addition to
the station address when a connection is requested.
If the IP address of the partner does not match the address of a configured partner of
the station, the station rejects the connection.
Do not check IP address
The station does not check IP addresses for incoming TCP connection requests.
Event properties
Event class for image memory
Selection of an event class in which only the last current values are stored in the send
buffer. Older events are overwritten in the send buffer (image memory method).
The parameter is not available with the TIM 3V-IE DNP3 / TIM 4R-IE DNP3. These
modules operate according to the "Default" setting.
Class x events
Only the current value of events of the selected class is stored in the send buffer
(image memory method).
Standard
All values of events of classes 1 and 2 are stored in the send buffer.
The current value is stored in the send buffer only for events of class 3 (image
memory method).
You can find details of how the image memory and send buffer work as well as the
options for transferring data in the section Process image, type of transmission, event
