Connect the cables in accordance with the following table:

X950 : 2 OFF switching command to circuit-breaker
X950 : 3 L – from circuit-breaker
X950 : 4 Redundant cable 2 L + redundant from circuit-breaker
X950 : 5 OFF switching command redundant to circuit-breaker
X950 : 6 L – redundant from circuit-breaker
X950 : 7 Cable 3 ON supply cable from circuit-breaker
X950 : 8 ON switching command to circuit-breaker

NOTICE
Incorrectly connected external encoder
If the external encoder is not connected or operated correctly, this can damage the
components.
Only one measuring system can be connected to each sensor module.
The sensor module is wired internally to the customer terminal strip. For further information,
see the circuit manual.
Note
Observe the five safety rules when performing any work.
Procedure
1. Allow unimpeded access to the SMC30 Sensor Module.
2. Disconnect the cabinet from the power supply.
