Basic knowledge that is required
General basic knowledge of automation engineering is needed to understand this
documentation. Basic knowledge of the following is also necessary:
● Failsafe automation systems
● S7-1500 automation systems
● Distributed I/O systems connected to PROFINET IO
● Totally Integrated Automation Portal, including:
– Hardware configuration with hardware and network editor
– Programming in the LAD and FBD programming languages using the program editor
– Communication between CPUs
– Configuring and programming failsafe systems with SIMATIC Safety
– Configuring and programming with SINUMERIK hardware and the SINUMERIK PLC
basic program
● Commissioning SINUMERIK MC using the TIA Portal.
● Commissioning the Safety Integrated Functions of the S120 drive in the SINUMERIK ONE
