3.10.3 Activating the OPC UA server via the SITOP UPS1600 web server
Activating the OPC-UA server and starting the web server for REMOTE operation
1. Navigate to "HW Configuration > General > OPC UA server".
2. Activate option "OPC UA server activated".
3. Click on "Download to device".
The OPC UA server is activated.
Server port
• OPC UA server activated
Define whether it is permissible to access the device via the OPC UA interface. If the
option is activated, then the SITOP PSU8600 acts as OPC UA server.
• OPC UA Server Port
The preset port number is 4840. You can enter another port number.
Security Policies
• Activation of anonymous access
• No security
If the option is activated, then unencrypted access via the OPC UA client is possible.
Activating the option is not recommended.
• Basic128 - Sign & Encrypt
• Basic256 - Sign & Encrypt
• Basic256Sha256 - Sign & Encrypt
Note
For security reasons, always select the highest possible security level possible and deactivate
settings that are not used.
