Requirement:
You must have the user role Installer or PV System Administrator (see Section13.1,
page120).
Procedure:
1. Select Configuration > PV system properties in the page and menu selection.
2. Select the tab Parameters.
3. Select [Edit].
The menu for parameter settings opens.
4. Select the appropriate option in the area Grid management services via Ethernet based
communication:
If the SunnyHomeManager does not have to implement any grid operator
specifications, select No (default setting).
If the Sunny Home Manager does have to implement grid operator specifications, select
Yes and if necessary enter a different port in the field Port. Tip: The default setting Port
502 can normally remain set. You may have to change the port if there are several
Modbus devices in the network.
5. Select [Save].
12.11 Setting the Optimization Target
The optimization target defines the objectives you wish to achieve with your SunnyHomeManager
system:
Highest possible self-consumption (environmental aspect - ecological)
Highest possible cost savings (business aspect - economical)
The optimization target affects the following components:
Load control via the SunnyHomeManager (either directly via cable-based communication or
indirectly via radio-controlled sockets)
Recommended actions in the diagram Forecast and Recommended Action on the page
Current Status and Forecast
Requirements:
The feed-in tariff, self-consumption tariff and electricity tariff must be entered (see
Section12.8, page113).
You must have the user role Installer or PV System Administrator (see Section13.1,
page120).
Procedure:
1. Select Configuration > PV system properties in the page and menu selection.
2. Select the tab Parameters.
