Entering the string properties provides the following advantages:
SunnyPortal can determine the PV array power more precisely.
The SunnyHomeManager can deliver more exact yield forecasts and control loads more
efficiently.
Enter the PV array power manually
You can find out the connected PVarray power present on each inverter from your installer. Using
the PVarray power, SunnyPortal can calculate your nominal PVsystem power (see
Section12.4.2, page110).
Requirement:
You must have the user role Installer or PV System Administrator (see Section13.1,
page120).
Nominal PV system power required for limiting active power feed-in
You must enter the PV array power correctly to ensure limitation of the active power feed-in to
the correct value (see Section12.9, page114). If there are changes to the installed PVarray
power, you will need to adjust this value.
Procedure:
1. Call up the inverter properties (see Section8.2, page66).
2. Select [Edit].
The menu for setting the device properties opens.
3. In the area Generator capacity, enter the PV array power in the text field kWp.
4. Select [Save].
8.11 Changing the Device Name
The serial number of the device is displayed as the default device name.
Requirement:
You must have the user role Installer or PV System Administrator (see Section13.1,
page120).
Device name requirement:
The maximum length of the device name is 20characters.
Procedure:
1. Select the device properties of the device (see Section8.2, page66).
2. Select [Edit].
The menu for setting the device properties opens.
3. Enter a device name in the Device Name or Name of Load text field.
4. Select [Save].
