Traces
Snom Support may ask you to submit a SIP Trace and/or a PCAP Trace to help them analyze your
problem.
Performing a SIP Trace
1. Open the phone’s web interface and click SIP Trace in the Status menu on the left side of the
display.
2. Click Clear to clear the page.
3. Recreate the error to be documented in the trace.
4. Click Reload.
5. Copy the text and submit to Support in whatever form they requested you to use.
If it is the public forum, make sure to delete private and/or security-relevant data like the MAC
address, public IP address, etc.
Performing a PCAP Trace
1. Open the phone’s web interface and click PCAP Trace in the Status menu on the left side of the
display.
2. Click Start
3. Click Stop to end recording.
4. Click the here

If it is the public forum, make sure to delete private and/or security-relevant data like the MAC
address, public IP address, etc.
