Vernier control
of the generator
parameters
frequency,
amplitude and bias is selected
with
the commands
VO, Vl
and V2.
In reply
to
each of
these
commands the
instrument outputs
the present
parameter
value.
The controller
can
then use the
step
vernier command
SPF
to
increment
or decrement
the value accordingly.
Vernier control
of the plotter
scaling
values X-MIN, Y-MIN, X-MAX and
Y-MAX is
selected
with
the
commands
V3,
V4,
V5
and V6. In reply to each of
these commands
the instrument
outputs the
present parameter
value followed
by three strings of
instructions,
coded in HPGL. The
controller
uses the HPGL instructions
to relay the
parameter value,
modified
as necessary,
to
the
plotter.
