Local Area Connection Properties window. Close any windows that are still open and reboot the

10.8 Windows XP Static IP Address Assignment
Click on the Windows XP Start button and select “Control Panel”. In the control panel,
double click on the “Network Connections” icon (you may need to click the link “Switch to
Classic View” to see the Network Connections icon).

