Vacuum Configurations
There are several different vacuum configurations that you may receive with your 3Z Series
based on you geographical location and the preference specified when you ordered your unit.
The two standard configurations are:
1. 115V Configuration - This configuration provides a complete 115V solution and includes:
115V vacuum. Typically an Electrolux Ultrasilencer EL6984 A, Solidscape part number
970096-01.
115V vacuum switch box. Solidscape part number 930175-04 that plugs directly into a
standard NEMA 5-15 receptacle. See Figure E-1, Vacuum Switch Boxes. The vacuum
plugs into the switch box receptacle and the 3Z Series connects to the switch box via the
vacuum control cable.
Vacuum control cable. Solidscape part number 901170 that connects the 3Z Series to
the vacuum switch box and facilitates 3Z Series control over the vacuum.
Vacuum bags. A starter supply of vacuum bags capable of filtering particles as small as
1 micron. Vacuum bag part numbers: Electrolux EL202B and Solidscape 970098-02.
2. 230V Customer (VAR) Supplied Vacuum - This configuration is not a complete solution! It
includes everything except a 230V vacuum that must be provided by the Solidscape reseller
(VAR) or the customer themselves. Specifically, it includes:
230V vacuum switch box. Solidscape part number 930175-03 that plugs directly into a
standard Schuko CEE 7 style receptacle. See Figure E-1, Vacuum Switch Boxes. The
vacuum plugs into the switch box Schuko CEE 7 style receptacle and the 3Z Series
connects to the switch box via the vacuum control cable.
Vacuum control cable. Solidscape part number 901170 that connects the 3Z Series to
the vacuum 230V vacuum and facilitates 3Z Series control over the vacuum.
