(2) Remove the timing belt from the pulley on
the back of the mechanical deck.

Be careful not to stretch or bend the removed
timing belt.
Installation
2. Swing gear replacement
(1) Remove the one percision screw, then
remove the gear assembly from the mechani-
cal deck.
(2) Remove the stop washer and pull out the
swing gear and pulley.
(3) Clean the shaft of the gear assembly with a
soft cloth.
(4) Apply one half of oil to the shaft of the gear
assembly.
(5) Pass a new swing gear through the shaft of
the gear assembly.
(6) Pass the pulley removed in step (2) through
the shaft of the gear assembly and fasten
them using a new stop washer.
(7) Install the gear assembly in the mechanical
deck with the one percision screw.
