3-11. Timing Belt
1. Remove the top cover. (Refer to Section 1-5-1.)
2. Remove the front panel block assembly. (Refer to Section 1-5-2.)
3. Remove the MD general assembly. (Refer to Section 3-6.)
4. Remove the motor block assembly. (Refer to steps 1 to 5 in Section 3-8.)
5. Remove the platen roller. (Refer to Section 3-10.)
6. Disconnect the harness from the connector (CN301) on the SE-1143 board.
7. Remove the two screws, then remove the oil damper.
8. Remove the damper gear in the direction of the arrow A.
9. Remove the portion C of the helical torsion spring (door) from the hole of the door block assembly.
10. Remove the door block assembly in the direction of the arrow B.
11. Remove the fulcrum spacer and helical torsion spring (door), then pull out the fulcrum shaft in the
direction of the arrow C.
12. Remove the timing belt (220TN10-5.0T) and timing belt (140TN10-4.0T).
