11. Description of the PH-3N SRM stud welding gun

The gun is equipped with a lifting magnet. The stud is lifted by a magnet before
the welding process and lowered automatically for welding.
The height of the lift is also decisive for the welding result.
The lift height can be determined via the lift time using the stud welding device.
See chapter “13.1.5 Adjusting the lift time (height of lift) in the setting mode” on
page 69.
The height of lift is adjusted using the dial on the gun.
