T HEORY
Input power from the external power supply is routed through this
board for both the monitor and docking station inputs. It also runs
through a soft start circuit to limit in-rush current. A 7-port USB Hub
is found on the docking station board to expand out USB / DSB.
The connector board is a board with all the I/O connectors on it. All
the I/O signals from the monitor dock PCBA are routed to the
connector board using a small interconnect PCB rather than cables.
This increases robustness and ease of service.
