The Power Supply and Battery Charger subsystem (refer to
Figure 3-4) consists of several subsystems:
• Always On (AO) MCU that provides ON/OFF control
• Battery management / charging control
• Voltage monitoring
• PWM for backlight
• Power sequencing
• Unit shutdown warning (PFAIL)
• Internal temperature monitoring
• Control of +12V, +5V, +3.3V, -12V power supplies
To show and monitor the supply voltages, open the Biomed menu,
click the System Info tab, then select the Analog key. If out of range
conditions are presented, voltages are checked at power-on, and
during run time and events are logged.
