SG-S5LFANTR
DRL5-IP line card fan tray (Fan and Metalwork).
SG-S5SERCAB
SG-System 5 serial Y cables.
SG-SYS5MEM4
4 GB Memory expansion for the DRL5-IP and CPM5.
SG-System 5
Name given to a single entire receiver configuration, including rack, SG-CPM5(s), line card(s), power supply, etc.
SG-UIB5
User interface PCB as well as the final assembly with LCD.
SG-UIB5-BP
User interface blank plate.
SIA
Security Industry Association. Sometimes referred to as the SIA format which is an example of FSK modulation.
TCP/IP
Transmission Control Protocol/Internet Protocol. A standard network communications protocol. On the SG-System 5, TCP/IP is used to communicate
between the console and the SG-CPM5. It is also used to connect the SG-CPM5 to a TCP printer (resident on the console) and TCP automation software
(runs independent of the console).
The SG-DRL5-IP receives alarm traffic from transmitters.
DRL5-IP receiver line card.
Tip
One of the wires used on a phone line. By convention this is green.
Zone
The portion of an alarm which contains the information identifying the specific zone of the panel that has been violated.
