Message: Leaving Xfer 5, #175 or #5
Messages can be left at either FlexSet or SLT stations with a message waiting
lamp, at station groups, or at network numbers. When you try to leave a
message at a station and receive a reorder tone, the station is probably not
equipped with a message lamp. In this case the display will show ILLEGAL.
To leave a message on a busy call or ringback:
1. Press [MESSAGE]* MESSAGE

or
Press
[XFER]* and dial 5.
2. Listen for the confirmation tone.
You may also leave a call back message by the following method when you
know that the station you are calling is unattended.
To leave a message at a vacant desk or forward station (from idle):
1. Press [MESSAGE]* or #175. MESSAGE

2. Dial station, boss group or network number.
3. Listen for the confirmation tone.
