Forced Release #123
This feature allows an authorized user to release two ports communicating with
each other.
To Force Release a port using preprogrammed buttons:
1. Dial port number.
2. Listen for busy tone.
BUSY
xxxxx
3. Press [BREAK IN] key. B TO
xxxxx yyyyy
4. Listen for conversation, you may press [SPKR] or hang up in order to allow the
continuation of the call.
or
5. Press
[FORCED RELEASE] and listen for the confirmation tone. FORCED RLS
xxxxx
Both ports will be disconnected.
6. Press
[SPKR] or hang up to release.
Notes:
1) To program FORCED RELEASE key, use feature code #123.
2) To program BREAK IN key, (see page 33).
To Force Release a port using XFER button
1. Dial port number.
2. Listen for busy tone.
BUSY
xxxxx
3. Press [XFER] and dial 3. You will break into the conversation. B TO
xxxxx yyyyy
x = called port
y = connection partner of the called port
