Conference, Multiparty View/Release #1983
This feature allows an authorized user, from idle, to release a conference
participant from an ongoing conference. This feature also allows viewing the
participant list.
To release a single participant from conference:
1. Press [CONFERENCE RELEASE] or dial feature code #1983. CONF. INSPECT
ENTER CONF NUM ON
2. Press [CONFERENCE#] or dial assigned conference number 7098-7099.
3. Dial participant number or press or to scroll through participant

4. To activate Forced Release, dial activation code
(no confirmation tone is
heard).
5. When no participants remain, the display shows:
CONF EMPTY
ENTER CONF NUM OFF
6. Press [SPKR] to exit.
CAUTION !
If you do not enter or display the participant number (trunk or
station number), you will remove an unidentified member from the
conference. The first to be removed is always the member who
joined the conference first, the second to be removed is the
member who joined the conference second, and so on. When a
member is removed, a warning tone is heard by all remaining
participants.
