Class Of Service (COS) Switchover #149
Each station has a Primary and Secondary Class Of Service (COS), which
provides the basis for dialing and feature capabilities for a particular station.
You may change from one COS to another. For an additional explanation see
page A-1 in the Glossary provided at the end of this guide.
To select your station’s Secondary COS:
1. Press [COS SWITCH] or dial COS Switchover feature code #149. 2NDR COS CHANGE
ENTER PASSCODE
2. Dial your passcode (4 digits).
3. Dial activation code

4. Listen for the confirmation tone. YOUR SECONDARY
COS IS:

To return to your station’s Primary COS:
1. Press [COS SWITCH] or dial COS Switchover feature code #149. 2NDR COS CHANGE
ENTER PASSCODE
2. Dial your passcode (4 digits).
3. Dial cancellation code
. YOUR SECONDARY
COS IS:
yyy
4. Listen for the confirmation tone. YOUR PRIMARY
COS IS:

Notes:
1) In order to perform COS Switchover at your telephone, you must
first have a defined passcode (see page 131).
2) The selection of secondary COS is denied when your telephone is
in Check-out mode.
