Ring adjustments allow you to define how the telephone will sound according
to your personal preference. Each telephone in the room can ring differently in
order to identify which telephone among several is ringing. Each sound
element can be independently defined.
To adjust RING LEVEL while your phone is ringing:
1. Press or keys. RING LEVEL xxxx
To make RING adjustments from idle:
1. Dial Ring feature code #136 to enable adjusting any of the
sound elements:
Note: In the case of Zip Tone phones
(FlexSet 280D-Z), press and hold the
handset on-hook switch while making
the Ring adjustments from idle.
To make changes:
1. Press or . The
characteristics of the selected
sound element will change.
When the desired sound is
found
2. Press [
SPKR]. RING LEVEL xxxx
CADENCE yyyy
RING TYPE zzzz
Note: 1) You can circulate among the sound elements by simply pressing
the relevant code number. When all elements are as desired,
press SPKR to save the changes.
2) FlexSet 120L has only one pitch (ring type).
