Paging, Receiving: Using
Paging can take place through the speaker, however, the feature can be turned
on and off (see page 127) as required. Receiving page calls can be activated at
your station when the set is either idle or during conversation. When paging is
directed at your station the voice paging tone is heard. This feature is
particularly useful as an intercom when the transmitting station uses a
programmed key (see page 124) and the receiving station is programmed for
automatic answering (see page 121).
To answer a Voice Page call:
Note: During conversation, either place call on hold or hang up, then
continue with the following steps:
1. Voice page (warbling) tone heard.
2. When tone stops, you will hear the speaker.

3. The way in which you answer is defined through the Voice Page ANSWER

Auto-Answer feature (see page 121).
When Auto Answer is defined:
Converse handsfree, or lift handset for private conversation.
When Manual Answer is defined:
Press the flashing [SPKR] or lift handset.
To stop an outgoing zoned voice paging:
Press the lit [SPKR].
