Security Line #17700
This feature ensures that Break-In cannot be accomplished by another station.
When Security is applied, Call Waiting tones and Break-In from other stations
are blocked. When Security is on, a caller who tries to break into your station
receives a reorder tone. Only a station that has Security override privilege can
break into your secured telephone.
To activate Security Line:
1. Press [SECURITY] LINE SECUR OFF
OFF
or
Dial Security feature code #17700 followed by activation code
. LINE SECUR ON
ON
2. Listen for the confirmation tone.
Your phone is now blocked against break-in attempts.
To cancel Security Line:
1. Press the lit [SECURITY] LINE SECUR ON
ON
or
Dial Security feature code #17700 followed by cancellation code
. LINE SECUR OFF
OFF
2. Listen for the confirmation tone.
Break-in attempts are allowed.
