Auto Redial #178
The system can repeatedly dial external busy numbers. The system will redial
until the phone rings or up to a number of attempts defined system-wide, before
the number is erased from the scanner list.
To activate Auto Redial from idle (before making an outside call):
1. Press [AUTO REDIAL] or dial feature code #178. AUTO REDIAL
ON
2. Dial the required outside line access code or press a programmed outside REP DIAL # 01

3. Possible outside line access codes: trunk number, trunk group number,
routing access, dial service, private/public library number, last number redial
code or saved number code.
4. Dial the outside number (see table on page 170).

5. Press [SPKR] to release or scroll between numbers by pressing the volume
keys.
To activate Auto Redial when you hear busy tone or no answer:
1. Press [AUTO REDIAL]
or
Press
[XFER] and dial feature code #178. CONFIRMED
ON
The system now automatically redials at timed intervals.
