Mute #1320
During a conversation you may need to temporarily turn off the microphone on
your telephone (handset and speakerphone). This will prevent the other party
from hearing a portion of your conversation. The MUTE key is an on/off
switch and can be pressed as many times as necessary.
To turn off the microphone during a call:
1. Press [MUTE]. OFF
Party cannot hear your side of the conversation. ON
To return to two-way conversation:
1. Press the lit [MUTE]. ON
Note: This feature can only be activated if you have a programmed MUTE
key. To program a MUTE key, use access code #1320.
