Auto Answer On/Off #138
This feature can be used to answer all incoming calls automatically. Incoming
calls to your station automatically connect after a predetermined number of
rings so that you can answer the call handsfree. When using the FlexSet 120L,
however, you must use the handset or headset when speaking.
To activate Auto Answer:
1. Press [AUTO ANSWER]. AUTO ANSWER OFF
OFF
or
Dial feature code #138 followed by activation code
. AUTO ANSWER ON
ON
2. Listen for the confirmation tone.
CAUTION !
Leaving your work station while Auto Answer is activated causes
your station to answer incoming calls. All conversations in the room
can be heard. A trunk call trapped in Auto Answer could lock up the
trunk until released by the system.
To cancel Auto Answer:
1. Press the lit [AUTO ANSWER] AUTO ANSWER ON
ON
or
Dial Auto Answer code #138 followed by cancellation code
. AUTO ANSWER OFF
OFF
2. Listen for the confirmation tone.
