7.3.4. DISASSEMBLING THE TLCBR CHIP

Follow the steps described in paragraph 7.3.1.
“Disassembling the display”.
With the display resting on a bench:
1. Remove the CHIP a from its seat, using an
integrated circuit extractor.

To re-mount the CHIP:
1. Make sure the reference notch b on the CHIP
is aligned with the reference notch c on its
seat.
2. Make sure the feet of the CHIP are
positioned above the holes in the seat.
3. Push the feet into the seat.
The CHIP can be irreparably damaged
if the CHIP reference notch is not
aligned with the one on the seat, or if the
feet are bent.
