7.6.5. DISASSEMBLING THE MAIN KEYBOARD

Follow the steps described in paragraph 7.6.1.
“Disassembling the display”.
1. Disconnect the connector a from the
KEYBOARD.

With the display resting on a bench:
2. Using a fine-tipped tool, raise one edge of the
KEYBOARD and remove it.
To replace the new KEYBOARD, with the
display resting on a bench:
1. Remove the film protecting the adhesive.
2. Begin attaching the adhesive part starting
from left to right, without bending the
KEYBOARD.
3. Insert the connector in the slot provided on
the display and connect it to the CPU board.
4. Remove the protective film.
When reassembling the keyboard, make
sure that the keys do not bend and do
not remain pressed.
The KEYBOARD may be assembled
only once, since the tracks and keys will
be damaged during disassembly.
