8.3. CENTERING THE TREAD BELT

1. Start the machine at a speed of 10 km/h.
2. Observe the movement of the tread belt,
correcting any tendency to shift to the right
or left exclusively by adjusting the left
tensioning screw a. Locking down this screw
favors shifting of the belt to the right and vice
versa.
3. Gradually increase the speed to 16 km/h,
making any small adjustments which may be
necessary until the tread belt is perfectly
centered.
