6.4. THE BELT MOTOR IS JERKING
THE BELT
MOTOR IS
JERKING
Are the belt motor windings
short-circuited or open-circuited
Does the inverter generate a
balanced voltage on all phases?

paragraph 7.12.

Replace the belt motor:
see paragraph 7.11.
Follow the procedure step by step to correctly diagnose the problem. Take particular care with the
checks highlighted by circled numbers, which are described in detail below:
(1) Disconnect the motor cable from the motor and place a tester across its terminals U-V, U-W
and V-W. The measured resistance should be approximately 3.1 Ohm.
(2) Run the machine at 12.6 Km/h (European version) or 9.0 mph (USA version) and place a
tester across its terminals U-V, U-W and V-W. The measured voltage should be 220 Vac.
