7.11. DISASSEMBLING THE BELT MOTOR

1. Carry out the procedure described in
paragraph 7.7. “Disassembling the motor ”.
2. Remove the dust guard.
3. Unscrew the 4 nuts a (2 are concealed by the
motor in the figure at left) which fix the belt
motor to the machine frame using a 13-mm
wrench and holding the screw underneath in
place with a 6-mm Allen T wrench.
4. Back off the 2 outer nuts b and the 2 inner
nuts c using a 13-mm wrench.
5. Move the BELT MOTOR toward the driving
roller.
6. Disengage the motor belt.

7. Unscrew the 4 screws d of the BELT
MOTOR cover using a large Phillips
screwdriver.
8. Back off the cable clamp e.
9. Open the cover.
