5.11. THERE ARE PROBLEMS FOR THE JOINT ON ARM
EXTENSION MACHINE
To improve the reliability of this component, the new parts are now available. The machines already
installed have to be updated according to the following procedures that differ in case of a M18 or
M12 joint.
5.11.1. MACHINES WITH OLD M18 JOINT
the new parts illustrated in the figures below are now available:
joint: code 0R000064AB
bushing: code 0G000271AB
This bushing reduces the range of motion of the joint, to limit the stress on the cable.
The installation procedure is as follows:
1. Assemble the joint on the handle using an 18-mm wrench inserted in position a;
2. Lock down the metal grub screw (0ZV00054) to fix the joint onto the handle;
3. Insert the plastic bushing;
4. Using a pointed tool inserted in hole b, assemble the joint and handle on the lever;
5. Screw the bushing onto the lever;
6. Lock down the 2 metal grub screws, order code 0ZV00054, (one on top of the other) to fix the
joint on the lever.
