- If you pull the pin: the backrest must move down and be blocked in correspondence of each
selected hole/position.
- If you tilt the backrest of 30 degrees, selecting the correct position 30° and then you try to turn the
knob clockwise and counterclockwise (see figure below): The knob must rotate within 10 degrees
and the backrest must not fall down.
Three possible cases:
CASE 1: The knob rotates within 10 degrees and the backrest doesn’t fall down: OK. NO ACTION
TO BE IMPLEMENTED.
NOTE: if you turn the knob, the rotation must be within the angle highlighted in figure below, in
correspondence of the two sections. To do this check, remove before the yellow cap from the knob.
CASE 2: If the knob rotates free / more than 10 degrees but the backrest doesn’t fall down: NOT
OK. Check the selector pin. For details, see the paragraph check the selector pin.
CASE 3: If the backrest falls down: NOT OK. See paragraph the backrest of the adjustable
bench (p820/p920) falls down – disengages during use.
