Plug (1) and gasket (2) should have been removed at the beginning of engine disassembly
to drain the engine's oil supply. If not, remove plug (1) and gasket
(2).
B.
Remove attaching hardware

4,5) and oil sump (8). Remove and discard gasket (7).
C.
Remove oil suction tube (6) from oil sump
(8).
