Fire Panel IRIS - Installation Manual 23
3.2.2.12 Maintained Loop devices
(See also APPENDIX B: Tables for corresponding of device types)
3.2.2.12.1 - 1251E (Ionization sensor)
- Following the initial start-up of the system there is no need for further readjustment of the type.
- A number should be set for the zone (1-96), to which the messages from the specific device will be sent,
indicating: ALARM, TROUBLE, etc.
- A specific mode is assigned to the light-emitting diode of the device: BLINK and OFF. In the BLINK mode the
LED blinks at every query addressed by the system. In the OFF mode the LED does not reflect any device
contact. The LED turns ON in case of a FIRE signal.
- Introduce the name of the device – 40 digits.
- The device maintains day and nighttime working modes. Each of these are assigned different times of filtra
-
tion of the FIRE signal. The nighttime mode must be less than that of the daytime mode. For specific cases
the times of both modes can be 0, disallowing filtration time, having the fire signal is immediately perceived.
The device maintains day and nighttime working modes. Both are assigned different thresholds for FIRE
(1-3). Nighttime mode must be of a lower threshold than that of the daytime one. It is possible to experiment
with various alarm levels.
3.2.2.12.2 - 2251EM (Photoelectric Smoke sensor)
- Following the initial start-up of the system there is no need for further readjustment of the type.

3.2.2.12.3 - 2251EIS (Photoelectric Smoke sensor)
- After the initial starting up of the system the type needs to be fine-tuned. The panel shall detect devices like
2251ЕМ. From the menu of types select the correct type of the respective device (this is recommended in
order to ensure the proper performance of the device).
