3.3 Zones
The IRIS analogue-programmable fire panel avails of 96 zones. There are separate LED-s to indicate FIRE
and PREALARM statuses for each zone. In case of FIRE event - LED is permanently lit. In case of a PRE-
ALARM event - LED blinks. To enter the submenu for zone configuration, chose Zonesbutton from Program-
ming menu Fig. Screen 2. The general view of the zone configuration menu is shown on Fig. Screen 12.

3.3.1 Button for Selecting the Zone Number
The zone number can be selected in sequence or directly, which can than be monitored.
3.3.2 Active Field for Introducing Zone Name
Choose the button to enter the screen (Fig Screen 10), for introducing the zone name, which shall not exceed
40 digits together with the spaces. Verify the information with the button.
3.3.3 Button for Zone Mode Change
Each zone has two working modes: NORMAL and 2DEVICES.
· In
NORMAL mode any detector activation within the system generates an alarm event to the respec-
tive zone.
· In
2DEVICES mode any detector activation within the system generates a PREALARM event to the
respective zone, but also awaits the activation of another detector from the same zone to generate a FIRE
signal. The RESET command shall disable the FIRE and PREALARM events.
3.3.4 Sounder Delay
The delay can be within an interval of 0-600 sec.
In case of activation of more than one zone, the delays to the outputs are caused by the zone with shorter
delays.
3.3.5 Fire output Delay
The delay can be within an interval of 0-600 sec.
In case of activation of more than one zone, the delays to the outputs are caused by the zone with shorter
delays.
3.3.6 Fire protection Output Delay
The delay can be within an interval of 0-600 sec.
In case of activation of more than one zone, the delays to the outputs are caused by the zone with shorter
delays.
