Communication with Other Devices
Receiving Data from Pumps and Oximeters
See Chapter 2, “Module Connections” for connecting pumps and oximeters through
Modules and see Chapter 3, “Sensor Connections” for case prole setup.
Caution
Each type of device will require a separate interface cable
specially congured for that device and the CDI OneView System.
Please see the following section on interfacing tips, or contact
your Terumo Cardiovascular Technical Service Representative for
assistance.
If a pump and/or oximeter is selected in the Sensor Connections Tab, the CDI OneView
System will begin looking for pump ow data and/or oximetry from the Module(s) upon
entering Measurement Mode. If no data is received within a certain time period, the
pop-up Check HLM Interface Module connections or Check RSO

will appear. The system will reattempt reception of data at regular intervals until the
case prole is changed.

Any interface cable used is specic to each device and should be ordered from
Terumo Cardiovascular Customer Administration. These cables will only connect to the
HLM or RSO

Interface Modules.
Note: Please consult the operator’s manual of the specic device being used for
instructions on how to properly set up data export through its serial interface.
