Database backup
Creates a backup f
ile for all projects.
Administrator rights are required and
the directory where the backup file is to
be saved must be enabled for the
network service.
Restore database
Loads the previously saved backup file and
thus enables access to the saved proje
ct
data.
Administrator rights and re-installation
of the system are required. The startup
wizard must not be launched before
restoring the database.

Open
Saveris Client
.

Select Project in the dialogue and
click on [Cancel].

Click on Options | Management |
Restore database.

Select the *bak file containing the
database backup.

In the Find folder dialogue, select
the directory for the backup (e.g.
c:\Programs\Microsoft SQL
Server\MSSQL.1\MSSQL\Data\).

Confirm the following messages with
[OK]. The overview window of the
projects is only for information
purposes.
- Database is being recovered.

Close Saveris Client.
Backup settings
Opens the dialogue for configuring the
automatic backup.
For security reasons, backup files
should be saved on a different PC to
the Saveris database.
