z Measurement cannot be performed in Manual mode.
The mode is set to auto measurement (Auto or
Auto quick).
Set to Manual mode. (Refer to “3.5.1 a) Setting
the eye to be measured, the axial length
calculation method, and the converted sonic
velocity.”)
z Measurements are unstable or inappropriate.
The retina waveform gate cursor is not set in an
appropriate position.
Set the retina waveform gate cursor on the
immediate left of the actual retina waveform.
Make sure that there are no unnecessary
waveforms between the retina gate cursor and
retina waveform.
The converted acoustic velocity is not set
appropriately.
Check the setting of the converted acoustic
velocity. A different converted acoustic velocity
can be set for right and left eyes. Check the
setting for both eyes. (Refer to “3.5.1 a) Setting
the eye to be measured, the axial length
calculation method, and the converted sonic
velocity.”)
z Monitoring sound does not go off.
The volume is set to “Mute (Off)” for the AL-4000
measuring unit.
Set the volume to a level other than “Mute (Off)”
as described in the instruction manual for the
AL-4000 measuring unit.
