6.5.13 Error and Warning Messages
The bus commands maybe contain error commands, command syntax errors or error
parameters. TH2816B executes a command after the command is checked. If one of
these errors occurs, TH2816B halts the command analysis, and the rest commands
are ignored.
The error messages listed as follows are displayed in the message window.
Error Message Description
Unknow Message! Unrecognized command is received.
Syntax Error!
Unrecognized command or data type is received.
The message unit separator (for example , “;”,”,”) is
improper.
Data Error!
Improper data type used.
Data value was too large.
Data value is not allowed.
Error Parameter. Unrecognized parameter used.
Error Suffix.
Units are unrecognized, or the units are not appropriate.
A suffix is not allowed for this operation.
Data Too Long! Program Data is too long.
Cannot Executed!
Improper command.
For example, frequency set command is sent when frequency
list sweep measurement is performed.
Record Not Exist! Load a file that is not exist.
The note messages listed as follows are displayed in the message window when
some commands are executing.
Note message Description
Open Progress.. Open correction is in progress.
Short Progress.. Short correction is in progress.
Save Progress.. Save control settings is in progress
Query Updated! A new query received when the output buffer is not empty.
Data Print Fail! Data output operation is over time in talk only mode.
Data Corrupt “Data Corrupt” is sent to the bus as a query response, and the
message is not displayed on the LCD.
