Getting Acquainted
The HiPer+ comes in a typical real-time kinematic (RTK) package
with a Legacy-E+ as the Base Station and the HiPer+ as the Rover
(also, refer to the re-packaging instruction card). The casing allocates
space for two non-removable, rechargeable batteries, a SIM card
(optional), a Bluetooth wireless technology module (optional), a dual-
system receiver board, and radio modem communications board.
The HiPer+ comes in one of the following configurations:
• with a 2W UHF TX/RX 410–430 MHz, 430–450 MHz, or
450–470 MHz radio modem depending on the country in which
the receiver will be operated
• with a GSM module
• with an external GPS antenna connector (for machine control
applications; see Appendix A for details)
• without a Bluetooth® module
• without a radio modem
Other features include serial and USB data ports, a power port, and a
MINTER for viewing status and controlling data input/output. These
features are described on the following pages.
