engine,settheparkingbrake,andremovethekeyfromthekeyswitch.

RemovingtheCuttingDeckCarrierFrame(page7–24).

securestheliftcylindertotheliftarm.
B.Pullthecylinderpinfromtheliftcylinderandliftarm.Locateandretrieve
thesecondthrustwasher.
C.Removewasher-headscrewthatsecurestheR-clamptotheliftarm.
PositiontheR-clampandhydraulichosesawayfromtheliftarm.
D.Pivottheliftcylinderrodendawayfromtheliftarm.
4.Removethefastenersthatsecurethebridgeplate(item1inFigure222)
andbulkheadbrackettothemachine.Positionthebulkheadbracketwith
attachedhydraulichosesawayfromtheliftarm.Removethebridgeplate.
5.Slidetherearliftarmfromtheliftarmpivotshaft(item13inFigure222).
6.Inspecttheangebushingsintheliftarmforwearordamage.Ifnecessary,
replacethebushingsasfollows:
Note:Donotdamagetheboreoftheliftarmduringbushingremoval.
A.Useabushingremovaltooltoextractboththeangebushingsfromthe
liftarm.
B.Cleantheinsideoftheboretoremoveanydirtorunwantedmaterial.
C.Applygreasetotheinnerandoutersurfacesofthenewbushings.
D.Useanarborpresstoinstallthebushingsintotheliftarm.Liftarm
bushingsshouldbepresseduntilbushingangeisagainsttheliftarm
bore.
E.Afterbushinginstallation,ensurethattheliftarmslideseasilyontothe
pivotshaft.Ifthereisanybinding,locateandcorrectthesourceof
binding.
