13.Openthetesterloadvalveandthenshutofftheengine.Recordthetest
results.
14.Anormalpumpowis18.9L/minute(5.0gallons/minute).Alowerpump
owmayresultinreducedcircuitperformance.Iftheowislessthan17.0
L/minute(4.5gallons/minute)orapressureof6,900kPa(1,000psi)
cannotbeobtained,checkforrestrictioninthepumpinletline.Iftheinletline
isnotrestricted,removethegearpumpandrepairorreplaceasnecessary.
Note:Theimplementreliefvalvepressurecanalsobetestedwitha
hydraulictester(pressureandow)inserieswiththegearpumpttingand

15.Releasepressurefromthehydraulicsystem;refertoReleasingPressure
fromtheHydraulicSystem(page4–11).
