TestProcedure
Note:Overaperiodoftime,thegearsandwearplatesinthegearpumpcan
wear.Awornpumpmaybypassthehydraulicuidandmakethepumpless
efcient.Aftersometime,sufcientuidlossmightoccurandcausethecutting
deckliftcylindertooperateslowly.Optionalhydrauliccylindersandmotor,if
equipped,willalsoloseefciency.Continuedoperationwithaworn,inefcient
pumpcangenerateexcessiveheat,causedamagetothesealsandother
componentsinthehydraulicsystem.
1.Ensurethatthehydraulicuidisatnormaloperatingtemperature.
2.EnsurethatthetractiondriveiscorrectlyadjustedfortheNEUTRALposition.
WARNING
Beforedisconnectingordoinganyworkonthehydraulicsystem,
releaseallthepressureinthesystem;refertoReleasingPressure
fromtheHydraulicSystem(page4–11).

ow-controlvalveonthetesterisfullyopen.
