4.4 HDD 4 Replacement Procedures
Installing a HDD
The following describes the procedure for installing a HDD (See Figure 4-4 to 4-6).
1. Install an HDD to the HDD holder and secure it with the following screws.
M3.0x4.0Z FLAT BIND screw x4
NOTE: Although they are 3mm head screws, screw torque must be set in 0.294 N·m
(3.0Kgf·cm) for four screws securing the HDD holder.
2. Slide the HDD-2 assembly into the HDD-2 slot from the screw hole side first and
connect it carefully to the CN1860 on the system board.
3. Secure the HDD-2 assembly with the following screw.
M2.5x6.0B FLAT BIND screw x１
4. Install the HDD-2 slot cover and secure it with the screw (with e-ring).
5. Insert the HDD-1 assembly into the HDD slot while sliding along the cutting tab and
connect it carefully to the CN1850 on the system board.
6. Secure the HDD-1 assembly with the following screw.
M2.5x6.0B FLAT BIND screw x１
7. Install the HDD-1 slot cover and secure it with the screw (with e-ring).
