CAUTION: Do not perform 4.13.2 “Ejecting the optical disk” except for the emergency
ejection of optical disk inside ODD.
4.13.1 Replacing the optical disk drive
Removing the optical disk drive
The following describes the procedure for removing the optical disk drive (See Figure 4-20
and 4-21).
1. Remove the following screw securing the ODD assembly.
 M2.5x4.0B FLAT BIND screw x1
2. Disconnect the ODD flat cable from the connector CN9680 on the ODD relay board.
3. Remove the ODD assembly.
