Installing the LCD unit/FL Inverter
The following describes the procedure for installing the LCD unit and FL inverter (See
Figure 4-43 to 4-46).
1. Install the LCD support to the LCD unit and secure them with the following screws.
• M2.0×3S S-THIN HEAD screw ×4
CAUTION: When installing the LCD support, do not mistake the left for the right and
vice versa. “L” for the left and “R” for the right are marked on the support.
(Only when the WUXGA LCD is used.)
2. Stand the LCD unit on the display cover and connect the LCD cable to the connector
on the back of LCD.
3. Stick two aluminum tapes on the connector of LCD cable.
4. Secure the LCD unit with the following screws.
• M2.0×4S BIND screw ×4
5. Connect LCD cables to the connector CN1 and CN2 of the FL inverter.
CAUTION: Be careful not to connect the LCD harnesses to the wrong connectors of FL
inverter (CN1=smaller one, CN2=larger one).
6. Connect HV cables to the connector CN3 and CN4 of the FL inverter.
7. Stick the insulator to the FL inverter.
8. Install the FL inverter and secure it with the following screw.
• M2.0×4S BIND screw ×1
9. Install the LCD mask while fitting the latches.
NOTE: When installing the display mask, make sure there is no gap between the LCD
mask and the display rear cover.
10. Secure the LCD mask with the following screws.
• M2.5×8B FLAT BIND screw ×6
11. Stick the mask seals and mask pads.
